Is there room in your circle?

When was the last time you included anybody new into your circle of friends? How does it feel to be left out? The thing that keeps some of us from "widening our circle" is fear. The fear of the unknown. The fear of exposing who you really are to someone you don't know. The fear of acceptance. The fear of rejection! Your willingness to "widen your circle" is what we as Christ-followers are called and equipped to do (Acts 1:8). If you have something that someone else could benefit from, like a life reconnected to God through Jesus. Then, perhaps you should consider making a connection with someone outside your circle. I saw a broadcast the other night, and it was said that folks who are not Christians ought to feel uncomfortable coming to our churches. Why would Christians want to make people feel uncomfortable? How did Jesus handle those 5 thousand plus folks who were hungry at the end of a long day? Did he make them feel uncomfortable or did make them feel comfortable while he met a need? Someone is waiting for you to let them into your circle because they see the light of God in you. I read this the other day, "with love and kindness have I drawn you."
